By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
Trade Plate Driven Transport
Service Overview: Richardson Vehicle Logistics provides vehicle collection and delivery services across the UK using trade plate drivers. This service ensures that vehicles are covered for road tax and insurance during transit.
Booking and Payment: 1.All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
2. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of service.
3. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to unforeseen circumstances.
4. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue and include fuel and associated charges.
5. Vehicles must be ready for collection on the agreed date; failure to do so will incur an abort fee equal to 100% of the job's value.
6. Collection and delivery addresses must match those provided at the time of quotation; any changes may result in additional costs or cancellation of the job.
Vehicle Requirements and Condition: 1. Vehicles must possess a valid MOT certificate.
2. Vehicles must be in a drivable condition; non-drivable vehicles will not be collected or delivered.
3. Customers must accurately describe the vehicle's condition prior to transport.
4. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage not noted before transport.
5. We reserve the right to refuse transport of vehicles deemed unsafe or illegal.
Insurance and Liability: 1. Each vehicle is insured up to £60,000 during transportation under our trade plate service, applicable only when the vehicle is under our direct care and control.
2. Our insurance does not cover personal items left in vehicles.
3. We are not liable for mechanical or electrical failures during transport.
4. Our liability is limited to the value of our service fee, except where prohibited by law.
General Conditions
Tyre/Paintwork/Glass Damage: 1. Richardson Vehicle Logistics is not responsible for any damage incurred due to a blown tyre during transport.
2. Richardson Vehicle Logistics is also not liable for stone chips to paintwork or glass that may occur during transportation; such damage is considered unavoidable.
Cancellation and Refunds: 1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled collection time; cancellations made with less notice may increase fee.
2. Refunds are at our discretion and may be partial or full depending on circumstances.
3. No-show fees may apply if the vehicle is unavailable at the agreed time and location.
Customer Responsibilities 1. Ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy with sufficient fuel for loading and unloading.
2. Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses.
3. Be available at agreed times for pickup and delivery.
4. Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before transport.
5. Provide a full set of keys for your vehicle.
6. Ensure all necessary documentation is available.
7. Communicate any special instructions clearly at booking.
Delivery Timeframes: While we strive to meet agreed timeframes, delays due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances may occur; we are not liable for consequential losses resulting from delays.
Privacy and Data Protection: We comply with all relevant data protection laws; please see our Privacy Policy for details.
Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for failure due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Entire Agreement: These terms constitute your entire agreement with Richardson Vehicle Logistics regarding our services.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by English law; disputes fall under exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
